Back in 2020, Emerald Body and A Rift In Grime were featured on synth compilations in the Miami area. Recently, 6 more songs were written and added to make a more complete album experience.

The finished product is heavy, dark, and gives you few chances to catch your breath. A danceable album to watch the world burn to or the soundtrack to taking the power back.

The original 2 songs were written amidst a pandemic, protests, propaganda and political corruption. Considering improvements have not been made since then, the rest of the songs also carry political undertones and a disdain for the powers that be. In a time which everything is designed to divide, we must stick together and remember what is important: family, friends and freedom.

This album was not programmed in a digital audio workstation. Keyboards, guitars, hand percussion and drums were played, effects were processed with outboard gear, electronic drums were sequenced on a drum machine. A DAW was only used to track and mix.
